Blue Fern Studios October Sketch Challenge

Hi there! Wow, October already. It's hard to believe the year is drawing to a close. But one thing to celebrate is the start of a new month means a new sketch challenge at Blue Fern Studios! And it's another amazing sketch again this month.

Here's my take on it:

I've said it before and I'll say it again - keep the negatives that punch out of your chipboard. You never know when they'll come in handy! The diamonds I used on the background are the punch outs from the Chain Link Panel, treated with gesso and then coloured with watercolour paints.

For the whimsical Mushroom scape, I primed the piece with gesso, then heat embossed the mushroom caps and grass.
