Halloween Canvas - October Flying Unicorn Your Passion Your Art Kit

The Flying Unicorn Your Passion Your Art Mixed Passion Add-On always contains a canvas; this month's canvas is an 8" x 10" primed black canvas. In keeping with the Halloween spirit from the two OTP projects, I took the canvas in a Halloweeny direction, too, with a gaggle of Julie Nutting trick-or-treaters.

I started by applying the Golden Extra Heavy Gel from the Mixed Media Add-On through the Tim Holtz Shattered Stencil, which I think looks like cobwebs. Once that was dry, I sprayed on 13 Arts Chalk White mist to accentuated the cracks, and then touched everything over with the green ink from the kit to give it a spooky undertone.

My trick-or-treaters are outfitted with papers from the Main Kit. I added extra layers for dimension, along with some shading with Copic markers and a touch of lace, and propped the dolls up with foam tape.
