I distressed some Color Hills patterned paper (new to the USA and available from Flying Unicorn) and mounted it on one of the canvas sheets included in the kit. A couple of the papers have a bit of an industrial feel to them that worked well here, and the bright colors were easy to match when I colored in my image.
The adorable little zombie digital stamp is from Saturated Canary, colored with a mixture of Spectrum Noir and Copic markers.
I used the Patina Texturez included in the kit through a Prima mask. The orange masking was made by mixing Ceramic Stucco with Fireworks! spray from Tsukineko; I added shading with a warm grey Copic to darken them up a little.
The shabby Melissa Frances hanger included in the kit is amazing. I took the purple flowers from the kit and hot glued them to some cut off wire I had left over from some other flowers and twined them around the hanger. To blend them with the zombie theme I added some grey lowlights to age the flowers.
These larger purple flowers were part of my stash - I took them apart (removing their original purple centers), stacked them, added new stamens, colored the insides white with Jasmine Mix'd Media Inx and touched the petals (and those of the Prima Truffle Roses) with grey to make them match the flowers from the kit.
I hope you enjoyed this project, and that you'll stop by the Flying Unicorn and pick up your kit before they're all gone!
