Friday The Thirteenth Papers from Poland Now At The Flying Unicorn

The Flying Unicorn is known for introducing fabulous overseas scrapbooking manufacturers to North American consumers, and we have just added three new companies from Poland to that list: Friday the Thirteenth, Color Hills and Go Scrap.

Today I would like to share two projects I made using the Friday the Thirteenth papers.

The first is a layout based on the current Sketchabilities sketch #92.

This is my eldest son, Elliot.  Even at this tender young age he has a bit of an addictive personality, and would play video games all day if you'd let him.  Luckily for us he's learned that video games are a treat reserved for good behavior, so he does lots of helpful things in order to earn a little video game time.

The whimsical images on  the Dobrze wiedziec papers were just so perfect for my little boy with his head in the clouds. It was also the perfect background for the yummy new purple mists I picked up recently (I'm on a real purple kick - this one's Lindy's French Lilac Violet).

I used Kelly Foster's WCYDW tutorial at Flying Unicorn for my background and applied Glass Beads Gel and Molding Paste through a Dylusions mask along with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Edgers and various Lindy's Stamp Gang mists.

The elements sheet is perfect for fussy cutting and layering under your photos.

My underused Tim Holtz Mini Rosettes die was just perfect for this sketch.  The buttons are also from the Elements sheet.

Flying Unicorn is running another Use Your Stash challenge (open to everyone, you don't need to be a Flying Unicorn member to play along) and I dug these DIY Thickers out of my stash for my challenge and misted them to match my background.

Here is the Sketchabilities sketch...

I really like the Elements sheets - here I have used the Jest Pysznie! sheet to make a birthday tag.

I started with an XL Julie Nutting tag and layered on different washi tapes, then gave the whole thing a whitewash with gesso to make the colors work well together.

The Prima Static mask is my new favorite!  Once the tag was fully assembled I misted with Fireworks Sprays in New Sprout and Angel Pink from the June KOM.

Check out all these new papers in the Flying Unicorn Store (and while you're there, check out the new Ayeeda Water Inks and Pearl Mists from 13 @rts!).

Thanks for stopping by!
