Nutcracker Sweet Tag and Candle Holder

It's my turn to share some Christmas projects today on the Flying Unicorn Today post, and I'm playing with some old Christmas favourites from Graphic 45. One of the lovely things about G45 papers is that it is so easy to combine scraps from different lines to gorgeous effect.

My first project is an oversized gift tag featuring the adorable Nutcracker from Nutcracker Sweet himself, along with three miniatures.

The bold patterns of G45 papers are ideal for tags - they pack plenty of punch into small spaces.

I fitted the hole of the tag with a key hole chippy from Leaky Shed Studio heat embossed with Stampendous Embossing Enamel in Aged Gold and trimmed it with some of the sumptuous gold crinkle ribbon from the store. I used a Viva Pearl Pen in Sunshine Yellow to add some dimension to the tag.

Another quick project using some of the scraps - a two layer glass candle holder. I love all the fussy-cuttable pieces of G45 papers.

Thank you for stopping by today!
